Robert Kennedy urges calm as he speaks to an audience about understanding the heartbreak as riots and protests tear through American cities. Coretta Scott King is mourning. The funeral procession is shown and among the mourners are RFK and Richard Nixon. A shot of the Poor Peoples March on Washington is shown which continued despite MLK's death
